This year, UCSF is taking greater steps to reduce its impact on the environment. On Earth Day on April 22, Chancellor Mike Bishop, MD, announced the formation of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability (CACS). The CACS will examine UCSF’s effect on the environment, evaluate and propose policies and programs, as well as coordinate the actions of groups and individuals who are concerned about the environment.
